Women tie Rakhies to Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao

Visakhapatnam: State Tourism, Culture and Youth Advancement Minister M Srinivasa Rao participated in a slew of programmes on the Independence Day celebrations. After hoisting the national flag at Zilla Parishad High School, Madhurawada, he went to Anandapuram mandal parishad office to take part in the Independence Day celebrations.

Later, the Minister flagged off a rally organised by the ex-serviceman at Bheemunipatnam where a 500-metres national flag was carried by the participants. He highlighted the beauty of unity in diversity. Later he distributed saris to women, issued identity cards to volunteers and participated in Raksha Bandhan celebrations with SOS children.
