Young girl commits suicide by jumping into well in Chittoor district

Satyavedu: In an incident, a young girl has committed suicide by jumping into well, over becoming upset after getting scoldings from the parents. This incident happened at Satyavedu town in Chittoor district on Tuesday.

According to the police, Swapna, the second daughter of Chanchu Ramudu and Kavitha, who resides at Balija Veedhi is studying intermediate first year at local government junior college.

She became depressed over parents scolding her on Sunday night. With this, Swapna left the house in the early morning on Monday. Over this, the parents lodged a missing complaint in the police station.

On Tuesday, she was found dead in a farm well near Kalamanaidupeta in Satyavedu. The locals noticed the body and informed the police. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and shifted the body to Satyavedu government hospital for post-mortem. Later handed over the body to family members.
