Youth hold protest by painting speed breakers in Tadepalli

Tadepalli: The youth of Tadepalli town protested in a novel way on Sunday by painting the speed breakers in the town limits, demanding the authorities to take action to prevent accidents.

Tadepalli Town was prone to accidents due to the growing traffic and the residents and the youth of the town gave representations to the concerned municipal officials to paint the speed breakers to avoid accidents. However, no action was taken by the authorities.

As there was no response from the officials, the youth of the town pooled some amount and painted the speed breakers which can be visible at night. The youth expressed their distress and said that as the department people did not paint the speed breakers, and as a result, a youth, Anil met with an accident at night a few days ago and died. They appealed to the municipal officials to address the basic infrastructure needs of the people and save lives.
