Referring to the problems being faced by the people of Yalamanchili, he said that at least 10,000 people were displaced due to the special economic zone. The government which promised to provide employment in the industries never cared to fulfill the promise even after 12 years, he said and announced that Jana Sena would strive hard to provide employment to the youth.

Pawan opined that the special economic zones should help to improve the economic condition of people. The local youth are livid when they were not given employment in the industries set up here.

Jana Sena would provide skills to the youth to prepare them for employment and employ them in various industries, he said. He flayed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for spending hundreds of crores of rupees in the name of beach festivals.Pawan alleged that the Chief Minister is all set to destroy Visakha Dairy and usurp its properties.

"Like Rayalaseema, in Yalamanchili also the leaders of the ruling party and the Opposition parties have been sharing the booty at the rate of 60:40 in contracts and quarries. Jana Sena would strive to stop such exploitation," he said.

Pawan said that incumbent MLA Panchakarla Ramesh has been striving hard for his political growth but never did anything for people. When the Titli cyclone hit Srikakulam, the Opposition leader who is supposed to raise his voice goes around on Padayatra in the neighbouring Vizianagaram district.

He called upon people to elect Jana Sena candidate Sundarapu Vijay Kumar who would strive for the welfare of people. He ridiculed incumbent MP Avanti Srinivas for sleeping in Parliament instead of participating in the discussion.

Pawan, explaining the welfare programmes which the Jana Sena would undertake after it is voted to power, said that a degree college, a polytechnic college and a skill development centre would be established in each mandal. "Intermediate students would be provided with laptops," he said.

He appealed to people to vote for the symbol 'glass' and elect Anakapalli Lok Sabha candidate Chintala Partha Sarathi, Yalamanchili Assembly candidate Sundarapu Vijay Kumar and Payakaraopet Assembly candidate Nakka Rajababu with unprecedented majority.
