YS Jagan assures of rehabilitation for displaced families due to Polavaram project

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy visited the Polavaram project on Monday in a helicopter. As part of his visit to Polavaram, CM Jagan first inspected the construction work of the project through an aerial view. He then oversaw the construction work of the project. CM Jagan was accompanied by Minister Anil Kumar Yadav. CM Jagan inspected the photo gallery set up at Spillway and had seen the works of coffer Dam. Speaking on the occasion, CM Jagan said, "We will provide water through Polavaram by 2022 Kharif; all financial problems will be solved. YS Jagan has promised to do justice to those who lost the lands.

The ministers gave a hearty welcome at the helipad to CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who reached Polavaram. Ministers Alla Nani, Thaneti Vanitha, Venugopalan Krishna, Cherukuvada Sriranganadharaju, MP Margani Bharat, Rajya Sabha members Pilli Subhash Chandrabose, Collectors Revu Muthyala Raju, Muralidhar Reddy, MLAs Tellam Balapurai, Eluru Range DIG Mohana Rao, District SP Narayana Nayak participated.

CM Jagan, who is making efforts towards making the AP Jeevanadi Polavaram project a reality and delivering fruits to the people of the state, will direct the authorities to look into the Polavaram project and complete it on time. The progress of the works is being reviewed.
