Amaravati: Telugu Desam Party General Secretary Panchumarthy Anuradha on Tuesday asserted that the Jagan Mohan Reddy government's 3 capitals plan brought days of darkness not just to Amaravati region but to all sections of people all over the State.

Anuradha deplored that CM Jagan mohan Reddy had passed a death sentence against mother-like Amaravati which had huge potential to create a golden future for the people of AP. One year has completed now since the YSRCP government began persecuting and harassing the women agitators of Amaravati.

Addressing a press conference here, the TDP leader said for the past one year, the Capital City women have been having no sleep and no proper food. They have been raising slogans and taking part in the Amaravati agitation. The government is turning a deaf ear to the pleas of these hapless women. Moreover, these women are being harassed by the government by slapping false cases against them.

Anuradha said that the general public are being implicated in thousands of false cases while the CM and his Ministers are indulging in thousands of illegalities and frauds. Minister Kanna Babu had said at that time itself that the YSRCP fate is hanging between the jail and the bail. Now, it has become very true. It is very unfortunate that the police under this present regime behaved atrociously with women who were going to offer puja at Ammavari Temple.

Anuradha accused the YSRCP MLAs of running and sponsoring a fake agitation in favour of the 3 capitals decision of the Chief Minister. MP Nandigam Suresh has no affection for his own land. CM Jagan has no right to continue as the Chief Minister as he failed to protect the self-respect of the women. While Chandrababu Naidu bent his head to express his thanks to farmers for giving their land for Amaravati, Jaganmohan Reddy was displaying his factionist arrogance.
