YS Jagan Mohan Reddy handovers cheques to Agri Gold victims in Guntur

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy said that within five months of coming to power, Agri Gold victims are happy. Jagan alleged that the victims had faced hardships in the Chandrababu's tenure, who didn't get any justice. The cheques distribution program for Agri Gold victims was held on Thursday at the Police Parade grounds in Guntur by CM YS Jagan.

Ministers and MLAs participated in the event. About 1150 crore has been allocated for this scheme. In the first instalment, checks were issued to deposits of less than Rs.10000 while Rs. 263.99 crore sanctioned to benefit 3,69,655 people in the state.

"In the first budget, after our government came to power, we made allocations to help the victims of Agri Gold. Glad to be able to do justice to the victims within five months. We will do justice to more people in the future. Cheques will also be distributed to depositors under 20,000." the chief minister asserted.
