YS Jagan Mohan Reddy promises Council seat to late MP's son

Amaravati: The family members of former Andhra called on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his camp office here on Friday.

Municipal administration minister Botcha Satyanarayana, who accompanied them, told media that the wife and son of late MP Durga Prasada Rao met the Chief Minister who extended his support to the family and promised MLC post to the son of the late MP in first vacant position in the legislative council, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Balli Kalyan Chakravarthy said the Chief Minister had stood by his family ever since his father died due to Covid-19. He said the Chief Minister had promised MLC post for him in first vacant position in the Council and his family would be grateful to the Chief Minister forever. He said that he would strive hard for the victory of YSRCP in the upcoming bypoll to the Tirupati Lok Sabha constituency.
