YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to visit East Godavari district next month to distribute the compensation cheques to fishermen

Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy will visit the East Godavari district next month. The Chief Minister's recent Cabinet has approved the compensation of GSPC (Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation) compensation to the affected fishermen who were neglected by the previous Telugu Desam Government. About 17,550 fishermen in Mummidivaram and Ramachandrapuram constituencies have been released for seven months.

With Mummidivaram MLA Ponnada Satishkumar's efforts, to compensation would be distributed by the chief minister. It was decided on the 21st of next month to distribute cheques.

In the same constituency, the late Chief Minister Rajasekhara Reddy in the constituency of I.Polavaram laid the foundation for Pashuvulanka- Saladivaripalem bridge with Rs. 35 crores.

Against this backdrop, Collector D. Muralidhar Reddy and MLA Ponnada Sathishkumar completed the construction of the bridge on Friday. The site adjacent to the Muramamalla Sarabhaya pond, which is suitable for the meeting has opted for compensation distribution.
