YS Jagan to disburse YSR Kalyanamastu and YSR Shaadi Tofa schemes funds today
The Andhra Pradesh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, will release the funds for the YSR Kalyanamastu and YSR Shaadi Tofa schemes today to provide financial assistance for the marriage of poor girls.
The Chief Minister will personally release the funds by pressing a button at the Tadepalli camp office. A total of 18,883 eligible couples will benefit from these schemes, and the YSRCP government allocated Rs. 141.60 crores for this purpose.
The YSR Kalyanamastu scheme provides financial assistance to girls from SC, ST, BC, minority, disabled, and construction worker families. On the other hand, the YSR Shaadi Tofa scheme specifically benefits girls from Muslim minority communities.
These initiatives by the Jagananna government aim to support and empower girls from economically weaker sections ensuring that they have the necessary financial assistance for their weddings.
