YS Jagan to distribute house site pattas to poor in Srikalahasti of Chittoor today
Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will tour Chittoor district on Monday. As part of the 'Navaratnalu - Pedalandariki Illu' program, he will participate in the distribution of house site pattas to the poor and the laying of foundation stones for housing in Uranduru in Srikalahasti constituency. He will leave Tadepalli at 9.30 am for Chittoor district and later reach Uranduru at 11.20 am to inaugurate the pylon and distribute house site pattas to the poor.
Later, YS Jagan will hold a Bhumi Pooja for the construction of houses in the Jagananna Colony. He will then address a gathering there and return to Tadepalli at 2.50 pm. Meanwhile, 6,232 plots with all facilities were laid on 167 acres in YSR Jagannath Colony in Uranduru. Of these, 4,299 plots were allotted to the urban poor, 465 to the Srikalahasti Rural and 1,468 plots to the rural poor. Construction of 5,548 houses will begin on Monday as part of the first phase. 8,600 plants were planted to make the colony pleasant.
It is knew that as part of Navaratnalu - Pedalandariki Illu Scheme was started on December 25 wherein the government has started distribution of house site pattas to the poor, which will benefit 30 lakh beneficiaries. The distribution program will go on for fifteen days.
