YS Jagan to hold a video conference over Eluru mysterious disease in a short while
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will speak to Eluru officials in a video conference shortly. The meeting will be attended by Health Minister Alla Nani, District Collector Revu Muthyala Raju, Joint Collector Himanshu Shukla, RDO Panabaka Rachana and DMHO Dr Sunanda. Also members of the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) team, physicians and scientists from various regions will attend the video conference. To this extent, CM Jagan will ask the officials about the current situation in Eluru.
Tests of samples are continuing to analyse a variety of models to determine the causes while providing the highest level of medical treatment to the victims of the elusive disease. The number of victims coming to hospitals has been declining. The number of those recovering and returning home is high. Meanwhile, the medical experts who went to Eluru explained that blood samples were taken from the victims along with water, vegetables and food items for testing. The preliminary report will be submitted to the government by Friday, the authorities said. Meanwhile, 583 people have been admitted to hospitals due to illness so far. Of these, 470 were discharged and twenty patients were shifted to Vijayawada and Guntur hospitals for better treatment.
