YSRCP finalises the candidates for Rajya Sabha elections!, polling on March 26
The YSR Congress Party headed by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to have finalised the candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections. All the four candidates are reportedly finalised for upper house elections. If the reports to be believed, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to send ministers Mopidevi Venkatramana and Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose along with industrialists Ayodhya Ramareddy and Parimal Nathwani to the Rajya Sabha.
On the other hand, businessman Ayodhya Ramireddy has been in the Rajya Sabha race ever since he has joined YSRCP. Mumbai-based businessman Mukesh Ambani's associate Parimal Nathwani has also been allocated. His candidature seems to have been finalized at the behest of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The Rajya Sabha elections are scheduled for March 26.
All four seats that will be vacated from the Andhra Pradesh will get to see new faces all from YSRCP with the party having a clear majority in the assembly to win the seats.
