YSRCP leader slams Gorantla over remarks
Rajamahendravaram: YSRCP central governing board member Srighakollapu Sivarama Subramanyam on Thursday said that TDP rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary had no right to speak about irregularities in sand ramps.
Addressing the media persons at his house, Subrahmanyam said that if Buchaiah Choudary proves that no irregularities did not take place in the ramps during TDP regime, he would honour him as the TDP MLA.
Every one knows in the city about the corruption and irregularities in the sand ramps and collections from the sand ramps during the TDP regime. The TDP leaders have no right to criticise Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy in any aspect who was giving an accountable, transparent and corrupt-free administration to the people.
Gornatla was making irresponsible statements against the chief Minister, he lamented. TDP leaders Ganni Krishna, Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary and BJP MLC Somu Virraju are making baseless allegations on YSRCP government to tarnish its image but the people were aware of the things going on, he added.
New policies relating to sand and liquor would be formulated shortly to check corruption, he said. Polavaram Project works were also not stopped with any ill-intension except to bring out the misuse of funds by TDP government to the limelight, he added.
The TDP leaders were just making wild baseless allegations and they have no other work except criticising the Chief Minister, he said. The party leaders N Srinivas, M Reddy, PH Rao and others were present.
