Update: 2024-02-07 14:59 IST

YCP State Women's Vice President PB Sasikala Reddy expressed her opinion that the TDP and Janasena parties would lose in the next election and not even be able to secure their deposits. During a press conference at the YCP office, she accused Chandrababu of forming an alliance with Janasena out of fear of defeat. She confidently stated that Chief Minister Jagananna would contest the elections alone, without any alliances, and win 175 seats. Reddy claimed that all the people of the state, including women, were ready to make Jagananna the Chief Minister once again. She predicted that both the TDP and Janasena would disappear from the state after the election in May.

Reddy criticized Chandrababu for failing to fulfill any of the 600 promises he made during the previous election campaign. She accused him of weakening the state through false promises, such as waiving off farmers' loans and savings loans. Reddy also accused Chandrababu of forming an alliance with Janasena, which she believed would lead to another defeat in the upcoming election. She claimed that the welfare and empowerment of women in the state could only be achieved under the leadership of Chief Minister Jagananna. Reddy mentioned that women were given priority in local organizations, nominated posts, and even in the cabinet. She stated that they would make women millionaires and mentioned initiatives such as providing house plots to 31 lakh women and depositing 75 thousand rupees in their accounts through direct benefit transfer (DBT) in four installments. Reddy emphasized that women would act as star campaigners in the next elections to ensure Jagananna's victory.

Several YCP members, including YCP Regional Coordinator Ratnakumari, State Women's Secretary Umamaheswari, District Vice President Krishnaveni, City President TP Subbamma, and others attended the press conference.
