Amararaja bags CII award

Hyderabad: Amararaja Batteries won the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) 32nd edition of Andhra Pradesh State Level Quality Circle Competition for the year 2019 on Monday at Vijayawada.

The state level competition is a part of CII's continuous thrust towards strengthening the Quality movement in India. While Amararaja Batteries won the competition by securing the first place, Mangal Industries and ITC Limited teams secured the second and third runners up out of the 12 teams that competed from the State of Andhra Pradesh.

The three winners of the state level competition would now compete at the Regional level competition to be held in Chennai. Regional winners finally compete at the CII National QC Circle Convention.

D Ramakrishna, Vice-Chairman, CII Andhra Pradesh & Managing Director, Efftronics systems gave away the trophies to the winners as the chief guest.
