Business: Gold and silver prices for the day, February 17
The price of yellow metal has gone up further by Rs 10 on Monday, February 17. The cost of 10 gm of 22 carat gold remained at Rs. 39,250 with an increase of Rs. 10 while with the price of 10 gm of 24 carat gold is stood at Rs. 42,780. The prices are similar in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam regions of Andhra Pradesh as well. On the other hand, the Silver price remained steady at Rs 49,500 per kg.
In the national capital Delhi market, the price of yellow metal have also increased by Rs 10. With this, the gold price of 10 grams and 24 carat remained at Rs 41,310 and the price of 10 grams and 22-carat gold remained at Rs 40,110. In the commercial capital Mumbai, the price has increased by Rs. 10 thus making to Rs. 39,760 per 10 gm of 22 carat gold and Rs. 40,760 per 10 gm of 24 carat gold.
There are many factors that affect gold prices such as inflation, change in global market prices, gold reserves at central banks, interest rates, jewelery market, geopolitical tensions, etc. The prices may vary from time to time.
