Gold and silver prices in major cities in India on Monday, December 9
The gold prices in India declined on Monday December 9 despite inching up in the global markets. The gold rates in Delhi were seen trading at Rs 37,100 for 10 grams of 22 carats and Rs 38,100 for 10 grams of 24 carats, with a reduce in the price by Rs. 200.
While in Hyderabad, the rate of 10gm of 22 carat has seen a fall of Rs 190 cutting it to Rs 36,120 and the 10 gm of 24 carat is marked at Rs 39, 530 with decrease of 290. The price of silver is stood at Rs. 47500 across the country.
The same trends followed in Amaravati, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada with rates Rs 36,120 and Rs. 39,530 of 10 gm of 22 carat gold and 10 gm of 24 carat respectively.
Gold prices hit a month high in the international market last week. This is mainly due to the unstable conditions in the US-China trade agreement. Gold rose to $ 1484 an ounce. This is the peak of the month.
