Gold and silver prices surge at all major cities on Sunday, February 16

After a constant fall in the last week, the yellow metal has gone up by Rs 400 on Sunday, February 16. In this gala wedding season, the price of gold in Hyderabad are as follows. The cost of 10 gm of 22 carat gold remained at Rs. 39,240 with an increase of Rs. 400 while with the increase of same amount, the price of 10 gm of 24 carat gold is stood at Rs. 42,770. The prices are similar in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam regions of Andhra Pradesh as well.

On the other hand, the Silver, which is at Rs 49,000 on Sunday has gone up by Rs. 500 on making it to Rs 49,500 per kg.

In the national capital Delhi market, the price of yellow metal have also increased by Rs 450. With this, the gold price of 10 grams and 24 carat remained at Rs 41,300 and the price of 10 grams and 22-carat gold remained at Rs 40,100. In the commercial capital Mumbai, the price has increased by Rs. 510 thus making to Rs. 39,750 per 10 gm of 22 carat gold and Rs. 40,750 per 10 gm of 24 carat gold.

There are many factors that affect gold prices such as inflation, change in global market prices, gold reserves at central banks, interest rates, jewelery market, geopolitical tensions, etc. The prices may vary from time to time.
