Gold and silver prices today, 2 July 2020: Gold prices in India have increased on Thursday following the international trends. On MCX, August gold futures were increased by Rs. 380 to Rs. 48,060 per 10 gram while the Silver futures on MCX were flat at Rs. 50,060 per kg. Meanwhile, in the global market, the prices have continued to edge higher after the economic activities are freed across the country. However, it is noted that the prices may vary due to various factors such as excise duty, state taxes, and making charges. If we look at the gold prices ar major centres in the country, here are the rates.
The gold prices in Bangalore have increased by Rs. 380 per ten gram of 22 carat taking the price to Rs. 46,060 and Rs. 380 decreased to Rs. 50,210 per ten gram of 24 carat gold
In Hyderabad, the gold prices have surged by Rs. 480 per ten gram of 22 carat to Rs. 46,750. At the same time, the price of 24 carats also hiked by Rs. 480 to Rs. 50,960. While in Kerala, the gold prices have been at Rs. 45,210 and Rs. 49,260 per ten grams of 22 carat 24 carat respectively with a hike of Rs. 460 and Rs. 450.
The gold rates in Visakhapatnam have stood at Rs. 46,750 and Rs. 50,960 per ten gram of 22 carat and 24 carat with a hike of Rs. 480 respectively.
