Gold and silver rates today cuts down in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kerala, Vizag - 22 May 2020
Gold and silver rates today 22 May 2020: Gold and silver rates in India continue to cut down for the second consecutive day on Friday due to the fall in international prices. On MCX, June gold futures fell 0.8% to ₹46,000 per 10 gram. Silver futures on MCX slashed by Rs. 800 to ₹48,200 per kg. If the trends are to be believed, Gold rates would tend to go up further had the government's decrease the interest rates.
Going by the gold rates at metro cities, the gold rates in silicon city Bangalore slashed by Rs 300 to Rs. 44,350 and Rs. 170 down for ten gram of 24 carat gold taking the price to 48,380.
The ten gram of 22 carat gold in the Hyderabad market has decreased by Rs 120 to Rs 45,240 but ironically that gold rate for ten gram of 24 Carat is increased by Rs. 650 to Rs. 49,050.
While in Kerala, the gold rates have followed the downward trend by Rs. 200 per ten gram of 22 carat to Rs. 43,150 and Rs. 220 decreased per ten gram of 24 carat gold taking the price to Rs. 47,070
In the sea city Visakhapatnam, the same trends followed with a hike in price of Rs. 120 to Rs. 45,240 per ten gram of 22 carat while the ten gram of 24 carat gold is at Rs. 49,050 with a hike of Rs. 650.
