Gold and silver rates today edges higher in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kerala, Vizag - 16 May 2020

Gold and silver rates today 16 May 2020: Gold rates continue to increase today on Saturday following the hike in rates at international level. India Gold June Futures rose to track positive trends seen in the international spot price which was trading higher on hopes of a further US stimulus. It is learnt that the Gold likely to benefit from widespread stimulus measures taken by the countries. The silver rates have increased by Rs. 2100 across the country.

Going by the gold rates at metro cities, the gold rates have surged in silicon city Bangalore by Rs. 550 per ten grams of 22 carat to 43,950 and the 24 carat gold for same quantity has gone up by Rs. 550 taking the total price to a maximum of Rs. 47,900.

The price of yellow metal in Hyderabad have also increased Rs. 120 to Rs. 44,840 per ten gram of 22 carat and Rs. 120 increased for the ten gram of 24 carat gold taking the price to Rs. 47,870.

While in Kerala, the gold rates have followed the upward trend by Rs. 500 per ten gram of 22 carat and 24 carat gold respectively. With this, the gold rates have stood at Rs. 43,000 for 22-carat gold and Rs. 46,800 for 24-carat gold respectively.

In the sea city Visakhapatnam, the same trends followed by a hike in price of Rs. 120 to Rs. 44,840 per ten gram of 22 carat while the ten gram of 24 carat gold is at Rs. 47,870 with a hike of Rs. 350.
