Gold and silver rates today surge in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kerala, Vizag - 15 May 2020
Gold and silver rates today 15 May 2020: Gold rates have increased today on Friday following the hike in rates at international level. The gold rates have been fluctuating for the last month without a particular trend due to the lockdown imposed to contain coronavirus. While the silver rates on Friday surged by Rs. 200 to Rs. 43,150 per kg.
Going by the gold rates at metro cities, the gold rates have surged in silicon city Bangalore by Rs. 150 per ten grams of 22 carat to 43,400 and the 24 carat gold for same quantity has gone up by Rs. 150 taking the total price to maximum of Rs. 47,400.
The price of yellow metal in Hyderabad have also increased Rs. 350 to Rs. 44,720 per ten gram of 22 carat and Rs. 350 increased for the ten gram of 24 carat gold taking the price to Rs. 47,750.
While in Kerala, the gold rates have followed the upward trend by Rs.300 per ten gram of 22 carat and 24 carat gold respectively. With this the gold rates have stood at Rs. 42,500 for 22-carat gold and Rs. 46,300 for 24-carat gold respectively.
In the sea city Visakhapatnam, the same trends followed with a hike in price of Rs. 350 to Rs. 44,720per ten gram of 22 carat while the ten gram of 24 carat gold is at Rs. 47,750 with a home of Rs. 350.
