Gold and silver rates today surges in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kerala, Vizag - 12 May 2020
Gold and silver rates today 12 May 2020: Gold rates have continued to hike on Tuesday following the similar trends for the last three days. The spike in the gold prices have been due to the ease of lockdown in various countries and in India as well. The gold rates in global markets have also increased. While, the silver rates on Tuesday have lowered by Rs. 610 to Rs.43,000 per kg.
Going by the gold rates at metro cities, the gold rates have hiked in silicon city Bangalore by Rs. 15 per ten grams of 22 carat to 43,025 ironically the 24 carat gold for the same quantity jas rose by a huge margin of Rs. 1,170 taking the total price to a maximum of Rs. 47,180. This is the all-time high rates in the year.
The price of yellow metal in Hyderabad on Tuesday have also increased Rs. 310 to Rs. 44,520 per ten gram of 22 carat and Rs. 290 hiked for the ten-gram of 24-carat gold taking the price to Rs. 47,300.
While in Kerala, the gold rates have also gone up by Rs.40 per ten gram of 22 carat and 24-carat gold respectively. With this the gold rates have stood at Rs. 42,300 for 22-carat gold and Rs. 46,100 for 24-carat gold respectively.
In the sea city Visakhapatnam, the same trends followed with a price hike of Rs. 310 to Rs. 44,520 per ten gram of 22 carat while the ten-gram of 24-carat gold is at Rs. 47,300 with a hike of Rs. 290.
