Gold Price Hikes While Silver Comes Down Today, October 16
The gold which fell for a short period of two days rose to Rs 350 per ten grams. Ten grams of gold crossed the 40 thousand rupee mark again. The impact of increased gold prices internationally has also impacted the domestic market. Silver prices have fallen drastically. Kg silver was reduced to Rs 1,150.
Gold prices rose sharply domestically on Wednesday. The price of 10 grams and 24 carats of gold rose by Rs 350 to Rs 40,050 per in Hyderabad, and 22-carat gold rose by Rs 320 per ten grams. This brought the total to Rs 36,720.
The price of silver dropped by Rs 1150 per kg, thus making it to Rs 47,500 per kg in Hyderabad. A similar situation exists in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. Here 24-carat gold is 40,050 for 10 grams and 22 carats.
In the Delhi market, the price of a ten-gram and 24-carat gold rose by Rs 300 to Rs 38,700. Similarly, the price of 10 grams and 22 carats also rose by Rs 300 to Rs 37,500. The price of a kilo of silver fell by Rs 1150 to Rs 47,500.
