Gold prices today surge in Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai on 11 June 2020
Gold prices today, 11 June 2020: Gold prices in Indian markets edged higher on Thursday. With the improvement of economic activities across the globe, gold prices seems to surge in domestic markets. While the silver prices have also gone up by Rs. 900 to Rs 48,300 per kg. The factors that affect the gold prices are inflation, global market price changes, gold reserves at the central banks, interest rates, jewelery market, geopolitical tensions, trade wars.
The gold price in Delhi per ten gram of 22 carats is increased by Rs.500 grams to Rs. 45,700 and that of ten gram of 24 carat is also increased by Rs. 500 to Rs. 46,900. While in Chennai, the gold prices with a minute increase stood at Rs. 44,940 and Rs. 48,980.
Coming to the Kolkata, the yellow metal has stood at Rs. 46,250 and Rs. 47,750 per ten gram of 22 carat and 24 carat gold with a hike of Rs. 440. The gold prices in the comercial capital Mumbai have seen a hike of Rs. 950 for both 22 carat and 24 carat taking the prices to Rs. 45,950 and Rs. 46,950.
