Gold rates today are rises in Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai - 9 May 2020
Gold rates today on 9 May 2020: Gold rates have seen a hike at all metro cities today due to rise in international markets amid ease in lockdown imposed due to coronavirus. The gold rates have seen a plunged by 0.6 per cent on spot gold. On the other hand, silver rates have raised by Rs. 1450 to Rs. 43,500.
The good rate in the national capital is increased by Rs. 50 to Rs. 44,750 per ten gram of 22 carat and the ten gram of 24 carat gold has increased by Rs. 70 to Rs. 46,530 respectively.
The gold in Chennai has got a good demand, which is not just seen as a valuable metal but also as a mode of generating wealth perpetually, the gold rate in the city has increased by Rs.350 taking it to Rs. 44,490 and Rs. 47,250 per ten gram of both 22 carat and 24 carat.
In Kolkata, the gold rates have spiked up by Rs.50 per both ten gram of 22 carat and by Rs. 60 per ten gram of 24 carat respectively. With this, the rates have been at Rs. 44,750 and Rs. 46,510 respectively.
While in the commercial capital Mumbai, the rates have hiked by Rs. 50 to 44,750 per ten gram of 22 carat gold and Rs. 50 increased per ten gram of 24 carat gold to 45,750.
