Gold rates today jumps hugely in Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai - 17 May 2020
Gold rates today on 17 May 2020: Gold and silver rates surged higher in the domestic markets following the positive trends globally. The gold futures have been in rise as the spot prices edged higher amid the stimulus package announced by the countries. The silver rates have increased hugely on Saturday by Rs. 1450 to Rs. 46,700.
The gold rate in national capital hiked up by Rs. 500 to Rs. 46,100 per ten gram of 22 carat and the ten gram of 24 carat gold has increased by Rs. 700 to Rs. 48,500 respectively.
The gold in Chennai has got a good demand where the gold rate in the city has gone up by Rs.620 to Rs. 45,460 per ten gram of 22 carat gold and Rs. 660 hiked per ten gram of 24 carat to Rs. 48,530.
In Kolkata, the gold rates have surged by Rs. 500 per ten gram of 22 carat and 24 carat respectively. With this, the rates have been at Rs. 46,100 and Rs. 48,000 respectively.
While in the commercial capital Mumbai, the rates have hiked by huge margin by Rs. 500 to 46,100 per ten gram of 22 carat and Rs. Rs. 500 increased per ten gram of 24 carat gold to Rs. 47,100 .
