Gold rates today sees huge decline in Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai - 05 June 2020
Gold rates today on 05 June 2020: Gold rates have continued to decline in Indian markets today i.e on Friday amid slow down in rates in international markets due to China-US tensions and protests. The weaker rupee has also helped to decrease the gold and silver rates in domestic markets. On the other hand, silver rates has also decreased by Rs. 400 to Rs. 48,900
The slowdown in gold rates is due to weaker consumer demand and reopening of economies to boost economic activity,
The gold rate in national capital Delhi decreased by Rs 150 to Rs. 45,300 per ten gram of 22 carat and the ten gram of 24 carat gold is at Rs. 46,500 with a fall of Rs. 150.
The gold rates in Chennai have been decreased by Rs. 120 to Rs. 44,560 per ten gram of 22 carat gold and Rs. 48,640 per ten gram of 24 carat gold with an decrease of Rs. 140.
In Kolkata, the gold rates have surged by Rs. ,880 per ten gram of 22 carat to Rs. 46,020 and Rs. 800 decreased for ten gram of 24 carat to Rs. 47,500.
While in the commercial capital Mumbai, the rates have decreased by Rs. 800 rounding it to Rs. 45,100 per ten gram of 22 carat and Rs. 800 decreased per ten gram of 24 carat gold to Rs. 46,100.
