HDFC Bank ties up with MeeSeva
Hyderabad: HDFC Bank has joined hands with the MeeSeva, an initiative of Telangana government, to bring services closer to the doorsteps of the citizens. With the latest agreement, HDFC Bank has become the sole banker for collecting revenues across all 110 centres spread across Telangana.
Badri Vishal, Circle Head, HDFC Bank, said: "We are extremely happy to partner with the Telangana government in bringing services closer to the doorsteps of the people. This will help them save time and help make their payments in an easy and transparent way. We thank the State government for giving us this opportunity."
GT Venkateswar Rao, Commissioner ESD, IT&C Department, adds: "We are delighted to have HDFC Bank on board for this initiative. They are a bank who are extremely committed to provide customer services in all financial aspects."
Through the tie-up with HDFC Bank, citizens can make payments through the MeeSeva portal as well 110 service centres. The bank offers payment gateway and cash management services and PoS machines at the centres.
As of December 31, 2019, HDFC Bank had 222 branches and 1,010 ATMs in Telengana. With CD ratio of 90, it has just completed 25 years nationally and 23 years in the state.
