Hyderabad: PublicVibe unveils local news app
Hyderabad: PublicVibe, a hyperlocal news platform , on Tuesday launched Local Reporter app in the city on Tuesday.
Allam Narayana, Chairman, the Media Academy of Telangana State, unveiled the app which makes news reporting from grassroots and citizen reporting incredibly easy, swift and effective.
"Technology is changing our lives at an exponential pace. It is also changing the way media functions and news is consumed. Local Reporter app is a perfect example of this change and disruption. It's amazing to see that with just a smartphone, one can shoot, edit, and create a final news video within minutes using Local Reporter app," Allam Narayana said, after launching the app. Appreciating the work of Local Reporter app developers and technical team, he said that he would take steps to train thousands of rural journalists using Local Reporter app.
PublicVibe expects the app to bring in disruption in the TV news media functioning and citizen reporting.
