ITC Classmate launches Pulse 3D notebooks

Hyderabad: Classmate, a notebook brand of ITC Limited on Wednesday announced the launch of 3D Classmate Pulse notebooks. This is the company's third addition to Classmate Pulse, their spiral notebook range, the first two being interchangeable notebooks and selfie notebooks.

'While the spiral notebooks have a market of 80 to 90 per cent across the globe, in India it is only two – three per cent. Hence, we keep innovating our products in order to cater to the younger generation,' the CEO of Education and Stationary Products Business Division, ITC Ltd, Shailendra Tyagi said.

Further, the CEO informed that the Classmate brand counts sales of around 38 crore (in volume) per year. Thereby, in a notebook market of worth Rs 6,000 crore in India, Classmate holds a share of Rs 1,500 crore, which means the brand has 25 per cent share in the organised notebook market, Tyagi added.
