Lantronix opens expanded facility in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: California-based global provider of secure data access and management solutions for the industrial Internet of Things (IoT) assets, Lantronix expanded its Indian operations on Thursday by inaugurating a new expanded facility in Hyderabad.

The expanded facility was inaugurated by Paul Pickle, President & Global CEO.

"Lantronix opened its first facility in Hyderabad in 2016 to focus on software and firmware development for their innovative out-of-band management and IoT products with the plan of expanding its presence in Hyderabad by 2020, said Pickle and added, "This expansion to larger facilities is ahead of that schedule and will be four times the size of the present facility i.e. 18,000 sft."

Pickle also revealed that the new facility will accommodate a larger software engineering workforce, technical support team and QA/Test engineering group.

He said that the company that is running with 60 engineers is going to expand it to 120 and depending upon the availability of quality work force it will further enhance its facilities as per as requirements.

The company is looking to expand its turnover in near future to $2 billion from $56 million in last fiscal year.

He also revealed that the company while focusing on organic growth by expanding its existing facilities in India, Germany and USA, is open to acquisitions, takeover of suitable organisations thus achieving inorganic growth also.
