Market today: Gold and silver prices record a rise on Thursday, December 5

After a declination for a week, The gold and silver prices rose to a high mark. In the Hyderabad market, 10 gm - 24-carat gold rose by Rs 420 on Thursday. This brings the price up to Rs 39,940. Market experts attributed the rise in demand from buyers to desi jewellers, including the internationally strong trend.

Gold prices of 10 grams of 22 carat also increased by Rs 420 making it to Rs. 36,650. The silver also followed same trend with a rise of RS 600, which has put the silver price at Rs 47,500.

The price of gold in the Delhi market is similar. Gold price increased by Rs 400 to 38,600. At the same time, 10 grams and 22-carat gold prices also rose by Rs 400 to Rs 37,400. Silver rose by Rs 600 to Rs 47,500 per kg. Prices have remained the same in Vijayawada and Vishakhapatnam.

On the other hand, the price of gold in the international market has gone up today. It rose 0.04 percent to $ 1,480.65 an ounce. Silver rose 0.02 per cent to $ 16.92 an ounce.
