NAC gets Assocham best institute award

Hyderabad: National Academy of Construction, on Wednesday said it has received the Assocham Award Gold Trophy in 'Best Institute - Placement category for 2019,' in New Delhi at Assocham's Skilling India Summit.

NAC said Assocham recognises institutes under various categories for their achievement in skill development. The selection process includes a questionnaire assessment, in which assessment is conducted on how the organisation has integrated the skill development process and its strategy and management of operations, it added.

NAC, a major vocational training provider said it has conducted skill development trainings and successful placements for more than 75,000 unemployed youth of Telangana. The skill development training was imparted in various construction trades and finishing school programmes for Civil Engineering graduates.

Shantisree, Director, P&PR (Trg), BD, B Indrasen, Director (Admin) and B C Rao, Director (PG Courses), National Academy of Construction received the award from Raj Kumar Singh, Minister of State, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, government of India.
