Petrol and diesel prices today 15 June 2020: Petrol and diesel prices continues to rise on Monday for the nineth day consecutive day after the oil companies started revising the prices. The fuel prices have been stable for last three months amid fall in crude oil prices. However, the government has increased the Cess and VAT on petrol and diesel, which is receiving the severe criticism from all quarters. Going by the rates at four centres, the prices have approximately increased by Rs. 3.40.

The petrol and diesel prices at four major centres, in Hyderabad, petrol is sold at Rs. 79.17 with 50 paise hike and diesel at Rs. 72.93 with a hike of 57 paise. In Chennai, petrol price per litre costs Rs. 79.96 per litre with 43 paise hike whereas diesel is priced at Rs. 72.69 per litre with hike of 51 paise.

Petrol and diesel prices in the national capital of Delhi have witnessed a hike of 48 paise to Rs 76.26 per litre and diesel prices have also hiked by 59 paise at Rs.74.62. The situation is similar in Mumbai with petrol prices being hiked at 47 paise to 83.17 and the diesel prices remained at Rs.73.21 with a rise of 57 paise.

The petrol and diesel prices mentioned above are due at 8 in the morning, which are subjected to change hourly.
