Petrol and Diesel prices today, 26 June 2020: Petrol and Diesel prices have continued to hike for last twenty days after the petroleum companies started its process of revising the charges on daily prices. Ironically, the diesel prices have surpassed the petrol rates, which is something alarming and burden to the poor.

Crude oil prices have soared in the international market. Brent crude oil rose 0.30 per cent to $ 40.45 a barrel. WTI crude oil rose 0.55% to $ 38.22 a barrel.

Going by prices, petrol was increased by 22 paise per litre and diesel by 17 paise per litre in Hyderabad taking the prices to Rs. 83.18 and Rs. 78.36. Petrol and diesel prices in the national capital of Delhi have witnessed a hike of 21 paise to Rs 80.14 per litre and diesel prices have also hiked by 17 paise at Rs. 80.19.

In Chennai, the petrol price per litre costs Rs. 83.37 per litre with 19 paise hike whereas diesel is priced at Rs. 77.44 per litre with hike of 15 paise.

The situation is similar in Mumbai with petrol prices being hiked by 21 paise to 86.91 and the diesel prices remained at Rs.78.51 with a rise of 17 paise.
