Petrol and diesel prices today 13 June 2020: Petrol and diesel prices continue to rise on Friday for the fifth consecutive day after the oil companies started revising the prices to get out of the losses Petrol has increased by Rs. 2.70 and diesel by Rs. 2.82. The fuel prices have increased by oil companies to get through the losses incurred in the last two months due to lockdown imposed and fall in crude oil prices internationally.
The petrol and diesel prices at four major centres, in Hyderabad, petrol is sold at Rs. 78.03 with 62 paise hike and diesel at Rs. 71.73 with a hike of 57 paise. In Chennai, the petrol price per litre costs Rs. 78.54 per litre with 54 paise hike whereas diesel is priced at Rs. 71.64 per litre with a hike of 50 paise.
Petrol and diesel prices in the national capital of Delhi have witnessed a hike of 59 paise to Rs 75.16 per litre and diesel prices have also hiked by 58 paise at Rs.73.39 The situation is similar in Mumbai with petrol prices being hiked at 57 paise to 82.10 and the diesel prices remained at Rs.72.03 with a rise of 55 paise.
The petrol and diesel prices mentioned above are due at 8 in the morning, which are subjected to change hourly.
