Petrol and Diesel prices today, 16 June 2020: Petrol and Diesel prices have increased on the tenth day consecutively amid State-owned oil marketing companies have been revising the petrol and diesel prices to recover losses. The prices have however increased due to the hike in VAT and cess.

The prices which are due at 6 am have got the prices for the day. Going by prices, the petrol was increased by 48 paise per litre and diesel by 56 paise per litre in Hyderabad taking the prices to Rs. 79.65 and Rs. 73.49.

In Chennai, petrol price per litre costs Rs. 80.41 per litre with 45 paise hike whereas diesel is priced at Rs. 73.21 per litre with hike of 52 paise.

Petrol and diesel prices in the national capital of Delhi have witnessed a hike of 47 paise to Rs 76.73 per litre and diesel prices have also hiked by 57 paise at Rs.75.19 The situation is similar in Mumbai with petrol prices being hiked at 45 paise to 83.62 and the diesel prices remained at Rs.73.75 with a rise of 54 paise.
