Petrol and Diesel prices today, 17 June 2020: Petrol and Diesel prices have continued the long run of increasing the prices for the eleventh day consecutively after State-owned oil marketing companies started revising the petrol and diesel prices on daily basis. On the other hand, the petrol and diesel prices have increased due to the centre hiking the VAT and cess.

Going by prices, the petrol was increased by 57 paise per litre and diesel by 58 paise per litre in Hyderabad taking the prices to Rs. 80.22 and Rs. 74.07.

In Chennai, petrol price per litre costs Rs. 80.86 per litre with 49 paise hike whereas diesel is priced at Rs. 73.69 per litre with hike of 51 paise.

Petrol and diesel prices in the national capital of Delhi have witnessed a hike of 58 paise to Rs 77.28 per litre and diesel prices have also hiked by 60 paise at Rs.75.79 The situation is similar in Mumbai with petrol prices being hiked at 53 paise to 84.15 and the diesel prices remained at Rs.74.32 with a rise of 57 paise.
