Petrol and diesel prices hike for fourth consecutive day at Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, 10 June 2020

Petrol and diesel prices today 10 June 2020: Petrol and diesel prices on Wednesday has witnessed a hike on the fourth consecutive day after the oil companies started revising the prices on daily basis.

The price hike on fuel has cone in the wake of centre decision to increase the VAT and Cess on petrol and diesel by Rs. 13 and Rs. 10

In Hyderabad, petrol is sold at Rs. 76.20 with 48 paise hike and diesel at Rs. 70.00 with a hike of 44 paise and in Chennai, petrol price per litre hiked by paise, which will now cost Rs. 77.43 per litre whereas diesel is priced at Rs. 70.13 per litre with hike of 39 paise.

Petrol and diesel prices in the national capital of Delhi have witnessed a hike of 40 paise to Rs 73.40 per litre and diesel prices have also hiked by 45 paise at Rs.71.62. The situation is similar in Mumbai with petrol prices being hiked at 39 paise to 80.40 and the diesel prices remained at Rs.70.35 with a rise of 43 paise.

The petrol and diesel prices mentioned above are due at 8 in the morning and petroleum companies revise the petrol and diesel prices on the basis of crude oil prices in the international market. Against this backdrop, prices are subjected to change regularly.
