Petrol and diesel prices remain unchanged in Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai - 02 June 2020
Petrol and diesel prices on 02 June 2020: Petrol and diesel prices sees no change on Tuesday. Amid increase in VAT and Cess by Rs. 13 on petrol and Rs. 10 on diesel, the price of fuel likely to increase by Rs. 5 in comming days with oil marketing companies are gearing up for daily price revision on petrol and diesel. However, going by the petrol and diesel prices for the day in four major centres, here are the prices.
In Hyderabad, petrol is now sold at ₹73.97 and diesel at ₹67.82. While in Delhi, a litre of petrol price is at ₹71.26 per litre and diesel price at ₹69,39 per litre. In Mumbai, petrol is selling at ₹76.32 per litre and diesel at ₹66.21 per litre. In Chennai, petrol price per litre will cost ₹75,66 per litre whereas diesel prices is at ₹68.33 per litre.
The petrol and diesel prices mentioned above are due at 8 in the morning and petroleum companies revise the petrol and diesel prices on the basis of crude oil prices in the international market. Against this backdrop, prices are subjected to change regularly.
