Petrol and diesel prices on 09 June 2020: Petrol and diesel prices have been rivising from last two days after being stable for 84 days amid fall in crude oil prices The fuel prices went up amid the decision taken by state-run oil marketing companies. On the other hand, the state petroleum companies have decided to revise the fuel prices following the hike in VAT and Cess on fuel rates.

In Hyderabad, petrol is sold at ₹75.78 with 56 paise hike and diesel at ₹69.56 with a hike of 56 paise and in Chennai, petrol price per litre hiked by 48 paise, which will now cost ₹77.08 per litre whereas diesel is priced at ₹69.74 per litre with hike of 49 paise.

Petrol and diesel prices in the national capital of Delhi have witnessed a hike of 54 paise to Rs 73.00 per litre and diesel prices have also hiked by 58 paise at Rs.71.17. The situation is similar in Mumbai with petrol prices being hiked at 52 paise to 80.01 and the diesel prices remained at Rs.69.92 with a rise of 55 paise.

The petrol and diesel prices mentioned above are due at 8 in the morning and petroleum companies revise the petrol and diesel prices on the basis of crude oil prices in the international market. Against this backdrop, prices are subjected to change regularly.
