Petrol, diesel prices remains stable in Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai - 31 May 2020
Petrol and diesel prices on 31 May 2020: With crude oil prices continued to be stable around $52 a barrel, petrol and diesel prices were seen no change in rates for the last two months. However, the fuel companies are bracing up to hike Rs. ₹4-5 per litre petrol and diesel next month with public sector oil marketing companies are gearing up for daily price revision on peteol and diesel. However, going by the petrol and diesel prices for the day in four major centres, here are the rates.
In Hyderabad, petrol is now sold at ₹73.97 and diesel at ₹67.82. While in Delhi, a litre of petrol price is at ₹71.26 per litre and diesel price at ₹69,39 per litre. In Mumbai, petrol is selling at ₹76.31per litre and diesel at ₹66.21 per litre. In Chennai, petrol price per litre will cost ₹75,66 per litre whereas diesel prices is at ₹68.33 per litre.
The petrol and diesel prices mentioned above are due at 8 in the morning and petroleum companies revise the petrol and diesel prices on the basis of crude oil prices in the international market. Against this backdrop, prices are subjected to change regularly.
