RCF registers increase of 35.47% in the sale of its NPK fertilizers SUPHALA in April 2020
Rashtriya Chemicals Fertilizers (RCF) on Saturday said that it has registered an increase of 35.47 per cent in sale of its NPK fertilizers SUPHALA in April 2020 as compared to the same month last year. This was achieved by RCF despite enormous challenges posed by COVID-19 pandemic.
'Despite enormous logistic and other challenges posed by COVID-19 lockdown, Rashtriya Chemicals Fertilizers Ltd (RCF)...registered an increase of 35.47 per cent in sale of its NPK fertilizers SUPHALA in the month of April 2020 as compared to April 2019,' an official statement said.
Chemicals and Fertilisers Minister D V Sadananda Gowda congratulated RCF in showing zeal to meet the needs of farming nutrients so that farmers reap the benefits of higher yields. He also expressed satisfaction that different fertiliser PSUs under his Ministry are working hard to assist Indian farmers during the lockdown.
Mr Gowda added that he is in touch with Agriculture Ministries and other related Departments of Centre and States to facilitate production, transit, and distribution of the required fertilisers during the sowing season.
RCF chairman and managing director S C Mudgerikar said the company is ensuring a continuous supply of fertilisers to the farmers, with adequate safety and hygiene. RCF has contributed Rs 83.56 lakh to PM-CARES Fund and Rs 83.50 lakh to Maharashtra Chief Minister Relief Fund.
