Skoda Auto mulls expansion in Telugu states

Hyderabad: The Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are a lucrative market for our offerings, said a senior executive of Skoda Automobiles.

Talking to reporters here in Hyderabad on Friday, Zac Hollis, Director, Sales, Service, and Marketing, Skoda Auto India Pvt Ltd., said, "In the Southern markets of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, we are witnessing rapid growth in the service sectors and is now an emerging hub."

Zac went on to add, the car maker registered growth for three years in a row in Hyderabad, with the city contributing 4.1 per cent, 6.4 per cent and 6.5 per cent market share for the years 2016, 2017 and 2018 respectively.
