Spanish coffee brand Keynuat eyes India

Hyderabad: Spanish firm Keynuat which is into cosmetic and coffee segments is gearing up to enter India market soon. Mohd Shamsuddin, founder of Hyderabad-based Sports Village, has signed an agreement with Keynuat to bring latter's products to India and other Asian countries.

Keynuat, a brainchild of two Spanish entrepreneurs, offers seven different categories of functional coffees, ranging from energy drinks to those that enhance beauty.

One of the main ingredients used in its coffee products is curcumin, a type of turmeric, which it imports from India. Besides coffee products, it also offers a range of cosmetics and nutritional supplements developed with epigenetic science.

Starting its operations on a modest scale, the firm currently sells its products across Europe and South America.

The co-founders of the company Joaquin Beana Martinez, Jaume Penataro (from Spain) and Adriana Tosello from Italy with their drive and personal marketing skills, established a credible network to ensure that the brand is the preferred choice in various countries, including Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Italy, Luxembourg Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Argentina and Mexico , among several others.

"Women of various age-groups patronize the beauty products, which reflect the quest for top grade quality and sustaining the same at every level-playing field," said Shamsuddin, who partnered with Keynuat and Eurpabex SL which has 95 per cent stake in Keynaut.

"There is an immense potential for these products in Indian market. After establishing the brand in India, we will launch it in other Asian countries," Shamsuddin told The Hans India.
