Swiggy to bring Stores feature to Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Swiggy on Wednesday announced it would soon roll out Swiggy Stores feature its on-demand delivery service. The feature will enable consumers to order products from nearby stores and supermarkets.

The food delivery platform said it has launched Swiggy Go across Bengaluru, which is an instant pick up and drop service to send packages anywhere in the city. For the launch of Stores in the next two weeks in the city, Swiggy has tied up with nearly 200 merchant-partners like Ratnadeep, Ghanshyam, Sneha Chicken, Yellow and Greens and 24 Organic Mantra in addition to delivering from any other store a customer chooses in the city.

With Hyderabad, Bengaluru also will deliver from national partners like Easyday, Heritage Fresh, Spar, Apollo Pharmacy, Healthkart, Ferns N Petals, Licious and FreshToHome. First launched in Gurugram, Swiggy Stores now delivers from stores in 10 categories which include fruits and vegetables, kirana and supermarkets, meat stores and pharmacies.

Sriharsha Majety, CEO, Swiggy, said: "After enabling this with food delivery for five years, Go will open the Swiggy delivery to all consumers in the city." All the deliveries for Swiggy Go and Stores will be made by their dedicated fleet.
