The Fund Doctor launched in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Business Doctors which provides mentoring services to MSME entrepreneurs on Wednesday launched The Fund Doctor which helps MSMEs raise funds through debt and equity besides providing other services.

"The Funding Doctor will service clients in the critical functions of outstanding payments recovery, funding advisory, raising debt and equity through venture capitals, private equity and listing in capital markets," Mayiri Sreenivasa Rao, co-founder, The Funding Doctor.

The major challenges MSMEs face are lack of access to funding and credit, unable to cope up with the rapid digitalization & technology adoption and lack of strategic direction for growth and expansion. We help them in all the aspects, he added.

The MSMEs have emerged as the backbone of the Indian economy by contributing up to 40 per cent of India's GDP and employing around 60 per cent of the country's population. However, in the fast paced, dynamic and competitive environment, the MSMEs are facing challenges to survive and succeed, he explained.

"The three critical ingredients for the survival, sustenance and success of any business are the business model, cash flows and people & processes, he observed.
