Andhra Pradesh: Residents of Bodigadithota, Vaikunthapuram areas refused to allow the dead body of an elderly woman who died due to coronavirus for funerals on Thursday. A woman from the Kukkalagunta area joined the GGH on May 12 suspecting COVID-19 and they shifted her to Narayana General Hospitals on 13 for treatment. On 14, she was tested positive and died on Wednesday, May 20. At the age of around 80 and ailing with diabetes and hypertension her body hadn't responded to the treatment, doctors said.
